Fans of national teams playing in Lviv will be amazed to have more news about the town.

There’re no direct planes to Lviv from London or other big hubs. This review is sent in September 2011 and the situation will mutate by May 2012.

For the moment you have to come to Kiev first. There’re three internal flights from Kyiv Borispil airportto Lvov (Lviv) daily, but theremust be more beforeEuro2012.

An alternative to arrive to Lvov (Lviv) is to take a coach from Kyiv airport. The trip will take about 7 hours. There’s no reason to give the price as it will incease during Euro2012, but is’t nearly 18 euros now.

If you’re 3ou 4 in your trip you may reduce expenses and come by taxi. The cost at the moment is 320 EURfrom Kiev to Lvov (Lviv).

You can also come to Kyiv which is at 35munutes from Kiev Borispil. You can get there by bus (3 Euros in October 2011) or by taxi (25 euros in October 2011)
There’re about 8 trains each day from Kiev to Lvov, the price is nearly20 EUR and shold be the same before June 2012.
There’s no possibility to purchase a train ticket by internet for the moment.

Concerning accommodation, we’re sure that there’ll bee no rooms in Lviv hotels, but you’ll have another chance to sojourn in Lviv and just few travellers form other countries know about it. Rent apartments Lvov for short term are much less expensive then hotel rooms, but the cost is set by apartment and not per each fan. In case if apartments owners decide to charge per traveler it will be still more attractive. Another advantage, you’ll have equipped kitchen in any apartment in Lviv, so you do not have to eat outside.
